Hello everyone! Just wanted to give everyone a head’s up on the status of all remaining transcriptions to be done (Ulf Wakenius, Antoine Boyer). I’ve just uploaded the entire Angelo Debarre transcriptions a few days ago; thanks for everyone’s patience!
I have transcribers assigned to each remaining lesson (Ulf Wakenius Vol. 1-3, Antoine Boyer Vol. 1-2). I’m currently working on the transcriptions of the lesson examples from the Ulf lessons. These lessons are extremely detailed and his playing is quite rhythmically complex, so it’s quite time consuming to make these TABs, but we’re working on them every day. Once my transcribers are done, I need to personally work on the layout of every transcription (as well as do a bit of review). On average, it takes me a few days to make the transcriptions of the lesson examples. I’m already 80% done with vol.1 of Ulf’s lessons, I hope to upload them within the next few days. All in all, while I don’t want to make any promises, I hope to upload all the Ulf transcriptions before the end of November.
The person whom I hired to work on the Antoine Boyer transcriptions is about 60% complete with all the etudes. As always I will have to review them myself before uploading them, but once again, I really hope to have these done by the end of November, likewise with the lesson transcriptions.
Thanks for everyone’s support!
In other news, as I’ve mentioned in a previous blog post, Adrian Holovaty’s Soundslice team is working on the brand new website. I have been informed that while the site is not yet 100% complete, they will have a functional version of the site for me to check out by the end of the month. Afterwards, we’ll need to do some testing to make sure the transition is smooth and perfect. Once the new site ready, it’ll definitely be a significant improvement over the current one! When will it be ready? Once again, I don’t want to pressure his team. Once it’s ready, he’ll let me know!
